MSP’s Escape Lounge
The airport can be exhausting, especially during peak travel times. Located just beyond security in Terminal 1 at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the Escape Lounge is a quiet place to sit back and recharge your batteries while you wait to board your next flight. If you’re hoping to get away from the hustle and bustle of the airport, it might be time to add MSP’s Escape Lounge to your travel checklist.
With a spacious 5,000-square-foot common area, there are plenty of spots to accommodate guests and their needs. There are options for every kind of traveler, whether you need an area to focus and catch up on work or just want to sit back and relax before take-off.
The Escape Lounge is only available to those traveling through Terminal 1, but anyone can reserve a spot for up to three hours, depending on lounge availability. There are no restrictions on class or airline, so you can enjoy the VIP experience even if you aren’t flying first class. The Escape Lounge is open daily from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The days of searching for a place to charge your devices are over. The Escape Lounge has plenty of charging stations available, so you never have to go without power. With complimentary use of the lounge’s iPads and high-speed Wi-Fi, you can prep for your next meeting or catch up on social media. Need to make a copy of a document, presentation or email? You can access the lounge’s printer, scanner or copier to make sure you have everything you need before you’re in the air.
If you’re feeling hungry, take your pick of prepared snacks, such as sandwiches, salads, quiches and pastries. Complimentary drinks, like water, coffee, soda and tea are also available. If you’re looking for a whole meal, upgrade to the Chef’s Table Menu, curated by Chef Colin Smith of Roundabout Grill. Breakfast is served daily from 4:30 to 10:30 a.m. Lunch and dinner are available between 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
