Free 'Zero Proof, Holiday Mocktail Guide' booklets from AAA Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (November 16, 2017) The holiday season is approaching.  What you might not know is along with the holidays comes an increase in alcohol-related crashes and DWIs. 

For example, in 2015 from Thanksgiving until New Year’s Day, over 2,500 DWI arrests were made in Minnesota, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. 

AAA Minneapolis is working toward decreasing the number of DWIs and crashes this holiday season, by creating Zero Proof, Holiday Mocktail Guide booklets.

The booklets contain information about the dangers of drinking and driving and offer potential solutions to reduce alcohol-related crashes on Minnesota roadways.  It includes tips for holiday hosts and attendees, but most importantly it contains fun and delicious recipes for non-alcoholic drinks.

 “After just one drink, your inhibitions are lowered, and your judgment is affected.  Be a responsible party host by offering festive non-alcoholic drinks, and help ensure your guests have a safe and sober ride home,” said Chris Claeson, manager of Driving Programs at AAA Minneapolis.
