Shopping is a big attraction on the island due to its completely duty-free status and the sheer number of goods imported, which guarantees great bargains on cosmetics, jewelry, liquors, cigars, electronics and much more. Philipsburg in St. Maarten is a popular cruise port, and Front Street boasts a multitude of stores with competitive prices. The capital of the French side, Marigot, offers some elegant duty-free shopping in original boutiques and shopping arcades, highlighting the sophisticated styles of Parisian designers, as well as European merchandise and luxury items, such as Lalique crystal and Louis Vuitton handbags.

On the northeastern coast of the French side of the island is Orient Bay Beach, a popular beach with great waterfront bars and restaurants and a variety of water sports, such as kayaking and parasailing.

Anguilla Day Trip

Escape to one of the Caribbean'’s best kept secrets. After an early morning pick-up from your hotel, you will be transported to Marigot, where you will set sail for a relaxing, 20-minute boat ride to the British island of Anguilla. After clearing immigration and customs, you will be met by your tour guide and head out for a panoramic tour that will end up at picturesque Shoal Bay, considered one of the best beaches in the world. Here you will have approximately 4.5 hours to unwind on a chaise lounge or go for a swim. Beach chairs and restrooms are provided; and snorkel gear is available to rent. Shoal Bay also has an onsite bar and restaurant for food and beverage purchases. Hotel transfer times will vary based on your hotel location. Departure tax and immigration fees are included. Remember to bring your passport.

St. Barths Day Trip

Your day will begin with a 45-minute, scenic ferry ride from Philipsburg, to the uber-chic island of St. Barthelemy (St Barths), arriving at the historic port of Gustavia, arguably one of the most beautiful harbors in the world.
