AAA Minneapolis Diamond Award Winners

What are the AAA Diamond Ratings?

The AAA Diamond Ratings are among the most well-known and respected distinctions in the global travel industry, but what do the different diamond levels mean to the consumer? Unlike most other rating systems, the number of Diamonds does not indicate the level of acceptability from poor to excellent.

In order for a property to be eligible to receive a diamond rating, it first has to pass inspection to be AAA Inspected & Approved, which ensures it is an acceptable choice for members for the type of experience provided. Because only AAA Inspected & Approved properties are considered for the Diamonds, the number of Diamonds indicate the level of service and amenities, from simple (budget) to highly personalized (luxury). AAA Diamond Ratings are exclusively assigned to properties that meet AAA’s rigorous approval standards, after an unannounced, on-site evaluation of the property.
