Day 1 - Welcome to Edinburgh (2 Nights)
Welcome to Scotland! You will be met at the airport by your private chauffeur and transferred to your hotel. Get to know Edinburgh and its secrets on a private walking tour with a Local Specialist. Explore, Edinburgh Castle, perched high atop a dormant volcano. You can see the Scottish Crown Jewels, Mons Meg, the Great Hall, and more.
Day 2 - Stirling, The Magical Kelpies & The Falkirk Wheel
Today, it's time for some man-made wonder and a feat of engineering, first up, standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tons each, meet the magical Kelpies. Continue to see the unique Falkirk Wheel, the world’s first and only rotating boat lift, that can carry eight boats at a time in a single trip. Next on the agenda is Stirling Castle, the former home of Mary Queen of Scots. Here, you’ll watch as costumed performers bring its history to life, see the Stirling Heads, and stroll through the gardens.
Day 3 - Journey to the Highlands
On to the Highlands, enjoy an exclusive, tailored 4x4 Safari with your private Local kilted Safari Ranger. Watch out for the Majestic Red Deer, the Famous Grouse and the soaring Golden Eagle as you travel through forests, mountains and moors on private hill tracks. Enjoy a delicious picnic before continuing your journey to Inverness, the capital of the Highland’s. Make time to drop by Gellions Bar, the oldest pub in Inverness.
Day 4 - Lakes, Whiskey, Monsters & Isle of Skye
Head to Loch Ness, where you’ll see the ruins of Urquhart Castle and perhaps spot the famous monster, Nessie. Continue through rolling Highland scenery to Loch Alsh. Stop for a photo of Eilean Donan Castle, then cross the Skye Bridge to the scenic Isle of Skye. Head to Talisker Whisky Distillery to learn the secrets of making the ‘water of life’. Be sure to step out tonight and look into the star-filled sky. With some of the darkest night skies in Europe, star gazers of all interests will be mesmerized by the twinkling canopy above.
Day 5 - Clans, Hogwarts Express & Loch Lomond
Take time to visit the Armadale Castle Gardens and Museum of the Isles. Explore and stroll through the extensive gardens before taking the ferry to Mallaig. All aboard! This afternoon, hop on the Jacobite Steam Train, considered one of the greatest rail trips in the world. As you travel through the stunning countryside, watch for the Glenfinnan Viaduct, well known to Harry Potter fans familiar with the ‘Hogwarts Express.’ Disembark in Fort William and continue through Glencoe and on across Rob Roy country to Trossachs National Park and sparkling Loch Lomond.
Day 6 - Glasgow Colorful City Walk
Start the day with a cruise on the majestic Loch Lomond, Scotland’s largest loch, taking in the spectacular scenery. Then travel to Glasgow, set on the River Clyde and join a Local Specialist for a private walking tour. See some of the city's spectacular street art, you may even be surrounded by bubbles in Renfield Lane.
Day 7 - End Glasgow
