About the Resort
Located in Akumal, which is Mayan for "place of the turtle," this adults-only, all-inclusive resort is ideal for a complete relaxation experience or to take part in a host of recreational activities. This is an ideal location for underwater exploring, being home to one of the largest green sea turtle populations in Mexico.
All of the first-floor guest rooms have a swim-up feature. You step out of your guest room and directly into an interconnecting pool. Each unit also has a two-person jetted tub; some even have one on the balcony. The grounds are phenomenal, featuring several water features and well-designed landscaping. Multiple gourmet restaurants are on site, and twice a week tickets can be purchased for a dinner show.
